With time and consistency, the relational and restorative process of psychotherapy has the power to make profound and unforeseeable changes in our lives. The information on this page details my services and fees. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about my psychotherapy services. As you will see below, I accept debit and credit card payments for therapy services; I am also able to work with clients who may have health insurance with Premera or Lifewise.

Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, trauma-informed, and psychodynamic. My aim is to provide a safe, emotionally supportive, and reflective conversational environment, in which my clients are encouraged to examine patterns of thoughts and behavior, explore complex emotions with a person they can trust, and ultimately free themselves from unwanted experiences to become more effective in life. We may engage in more targeted or specific methods of doing therapy if appropriate or necessary. I believe that, sometimes, it is therapeutic enough simply to be seen, heard, and known.

I apply my experience in mental health counseling and my knowledge of the psychological-behavioral sciences to assess my clients needs and collaboratively develop an approach to therapy that is unique to them. I’ve covered a range of concerns with clients in the past, and have found that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to psychotherapy and healing. I maintain a commitment to curiosity, sensitivity, and willingness to learn when it comes to understanding and serving the clients I work with.

Some of my clinical interests include — anxiety and depression; mood swings and bipolar disorder symptoms; PTSD/CPTSD recovery and support; stress/anger management; OCD symptoms and phobias; grief and loss; family conflict; career/educational goals, relationships (including open relationships/polyamory) and attachment/intimacy counseling; LGBTQ+ support; ADHD and related coping skills; chronic pain and palliative care; identity and existential crisis; psychotic experience(s) and related disorders; spiritual/religious/cult abuse; veteran’s health; men’s mental health and wellness; general support for transitions in life.

If you do not see yourself reflected in my clinical interests, that does not mean we cannot work together! Please allow me to hear from you what your goals and concerns are, and we will decide together whether or not we are a good fit for your therapy.

I am a licensed mental health counselor associate (LMHCA) in the state of Washington. I conduct sessions both virtually and in-person. My office is currently located in Seattle’s East Lake neighborhood. I work with adult individuals and couples. All therapy services and communications are, by their very nature, private and HIPPA-compliant, according also to State and Federal law. I accept credit and debit card payments for self-pay clients, and I provide opportunities for “sliding scale fees” upon request.

I am an affiliate member of Shelterwood Collective PLLC (https://www.shelterwoodcollective.com) and, through their billing department, I can provide psychotherapy services for clients with Premera and Lifewise health insurance. Shelterwood is a Seattle-based psychotherapy co-operative, also bound by HIPPA and state and federal laws.

If you would like to discuss working together please fill out the contact form on this website. I will reach out to you with an invitation to a brief phone call for us to discuss your interest therapy. I will provide you with office/meeting information after we discuss your needs and goals for therapy. You will be asked to sign a client/provider consent to treatment document and complete a brief intake questionnaire before we begin therapy services.
